Tajdar Amrohi, the son of the late and legendary filmmaker Kamal Amrohi, has threatened to sue Kriti Sanon and Manish Malhotra. He is Meena Kumari’s spouse.
It appears that Kriti Sanon, an actor-turned-producer, would not be able to carry through her ambitious intentions to direct a biopic on the legendary actress Meena Kumari with Manish Malhotra as the producer.
Tajdar Amrohi, the son of the late and legendary filmmaker Kamal Amrohi, has threatened to sue Sanon and Malhotra following the strong outcry against what many regard as an ethically and artistically inappropriate production. Tajdar Amrohi is Meena Kumari’s spouse.
An enraged Tajdar Amrohi yelled at this journalist, “Some industrywalas have become utterly insolvent and robbers.They don’t have any business entering my domain and area in the first place. They are also DACOITS in addition to being robbers.
Tajdar Amrohi believes, correctly, that no one should be allowed to make a movie on Meena Kumari without his permission. “My mother was Meena Kumari, and my father was Kamal Amrohi. Please invite those folks to make a film on their own parents, but I have no doubt they won’t because they were unimportant. Anyhow, everything they produce will be founded on lies.
