Meeku Maathrame Chepta is a film that Vijay Devarakonda is promoting it on a huge scale as he is producing it. Read on to see how the film turns out to be.
Story: The film is based on the life of Rakesh played by Tharun Bhaskar who has a doubtful lover. He somehow manages to marry her but on the wedding day, he gets a video where he is seen getting knotty with an unidentified lady. Who is she? and who has sent this video to disturb Rakesh’s wedding? That forms the crux of the story.
Performances: Many said that Tharun Bhaskar should only stick for directing rather than acting. But he has proved them wrong with a very good performance. Tharun is a good actor and he has it to make it big as an actor. He has done the job well in his role which was a bit tough for him as he was the center of attraction. Abhinav Gomatam was the star of the film with his hilarious comedy punches but he overacted in many scenes which is boring. The heroine did not have anything to showcase except for appearing in a few scenes.

Analysis: The film is a situational comedy about a video clip that goes viral. The film starts on a positive note but there on gets into its groove only after a while. The lead cast manages to tickle the funny bones but the film does not register on you much. The twists that are thrown at the audience are also not handled well at all.
They do not bring any surprise factor for the audience. This is the biggest link in the film as the writing and screenplay are very weak. Some comedy situations are good but the heroine and her problem with the hero lying is shown in a way too much hard and dull manner which is a letdown. The film is a simple funda film which is like a short film that has been stretched into a feature film.
