Mass Director Harish Shankar’s Solid Lineup with Star Heroes

Harish Shankar, a mass powerful director in Tollywood, is renowned for his knack for making commercial entertainers, particularly through remakes. He has a unique approach of infusing his own flavor into adapted scripts, evident in hits like ‘Gabbar Singh‘ and ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh‘.

After a hiatus since his 2019 release ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’, he patiently waited for Pawan Kalyan to collaborate on ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh‘, a remake of ‘Theri‘. However, Pawan’s political commitments have momentarily stalled the project, which is expected to resume post-election season.

In the interim, Harish is working on ‘Mr. Bachchan’, a remake of the Hindi film ‘Raid’, starring Ravi Teja, backed by People Media Factory. Anticipation is high for this venture. Following its completion, he plans to shift focus back to ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. Remarkably, Harish has already lined up two more projects.

One involves Megastar Chiranjeevi, possibly commencing after Chiru wraps ‘Vishwambhara‘. There’s buzz about another potential collaboration with Nandamuri Balakrishna under KVN Productions. An official announcement is imminent. Despite the five years gap since his last release, Harish Shankar now finds himself with four movies in the pipeline.
