If he receives “Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan-Type Fees” for The Family Man series, Manoj Bajpayee discusses it.
Manoj Bajpayee is a well-known Indian actor who has won numerous awards for his dramatic performances and his capacity to give his characters depth and realism. He is one of the most well-known actors in the business, yet he contends that OTT platforms pay him appallingly little.
He didn’t receive as much money for The Family Man as Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan did. Bajyapee portrays a world-class spy in the Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK production, where he battles to save his nation while shielding his family from the effects of his covert, demanding, and low-paying work.
Manoj Bajpayee inquired about Samdish’s bank account during a conversation they had on his YouTube channel. He chuckled when he claimed that making films like Bhosle and Gali Guleiyan wouldn’t make you rich. Manoj said that he still doesn’t get enough money despite being a star of the “world’s biggest show” when Samdish brought it up. In response to the question of whether he receives “Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan-type fees” for The Family Man, he rejected the idea and responded, “Yeh OTT wale regular producer se kam nahi hai (OTT platforms are just as bad as regular producers). They will pay big stars. I did not get the kind of money I should have for The Family Man.”
Then, Manoj Bajpayee said something that was fairly unexpected, saying that the same platform would go all out if they had a Hollywood star. “Gora aayega, show karega to de denge (If a white actor does the show, they will pay). Brands have factories in China because there is cheap labour. Similarly, I am the cheap labour here,” he quoted.
The National Award-winning actor continued by saying that John Krasinski’s character Jack Ryan would have received ‘bhar bhar’ ke.
Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Shreya Dhanwantary, and Sharib Hashmi are among the other actors who appear in the Family Man series. The Family Man Season 2 marked Samantha Prabhu Ruth’s digital debut whereas the adversary in the first season was played by Neeraj Madhav.
