In an interview, Manchu Manoj talked about his life story from his childhood dreams to making a comeback in films.
Growing up in Rayalaseema and Chennai Manoj was inspired by action icons like Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. A childhood incident led him to take up karate which later grew into a passion for boxing and advanced martial arts training in Phuket.
After taking a break in 2006, he trained in Los Angeles for UFC. But a visit to Rishikesh and a deep conversation with a priest friend helped him find clarity and peace.
Manoj also spoke fondly about old friendships and a meaningful family trip to Singapore. He called his comeback film Mirai a new beginning and looked back on films like Prayanam, Vedam, and Potugadu.
His bond with Yuvan Shankar Raja and their hit song “Oke Oka Jeevitham” was another sweet highlight. He’s now excited for Bhairavam and future roles.
