Malla Reddy Opens Up On Refusing Ustaad Bhagat Singh Role

Malla Reddy, well known for his bold speeches and viral videos recently revealed that he once got a surprising movie offer. Though mainly recognized for his political journey and his unique style has made him popular with the public.

In a recent interview during Dussehra celebrations, Malla Reddy shared that director Harish Shankar had approached him to play the villain in Ustaad Bhagat Singh the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Theri.

He was even offered a huge remuneration of Rs. 3 crores. However Malla Reddy politely declined. Explaining his decision, he joked, “What does a villain do? He scolds the hero before the interval and later, the hero scolds and beats him. I didn’t like that role”.

Meanwhile Ustaad Bhagat Singh has moved away from the remake idea and is now an original story. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Sreeleela and Rashi Khanna, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
