Superstar Mahesh Babu and star director SS Rajamouli are finally teaming up for a long-awaited pan-world movie under the banner of Sri Durga Arts. This collaboration has been in the talks for over 15 years, dating back to before Rajamouli’s groundbreaking “Baahubali” saga. Despite both achieving immense success individually, they’ve remained committed to this project, honoring their word to the producers KL Narayana and Gopal Reddy.
Narayana expressed his surprise at their steadfastness, noting that in an industry where market value often dictates decisions, Mahesh and Rajamouli’s loyalty is commendable. The movie, set to kick off on superstar Krishna‘s birthday, aims to be the crown jewel in the Durga Arts banner, known for past hits like ‘Hello Brother‘ and ‘Kshana Kshanam‘.
With Keeravani onboard as the composer, the project promises to be a global spectacle, with rumours suggesting a partnership with a major international production house, leveraging Rajamouli’s worldwide acclaim from ‘RRR‘. While details on the cast and crew are yet to be unveiled, anticipation is already soaring for what could be a cinematic milestone.
