Konda Surekha Issues Public Apology To Nagarjuna

Telangana Minister Konda Surekha has issued a public apology to actor Nagarjuna on social media.

Earlier while criticizing former minister KTR she made inappropriate remarks about Nagarjuna which led to controversy.

Her earlier comments about Samantha and Chaitanya’s divorce had already caused a stir prompting Nag to file a defamation case against her that is still under trial.

To prevent further legal trouble Konda Surekha shared an apology post on Twitter saying she never meant to hurt or insult Nagarjuna. She expressed regret and said she had withdrawn her comments.

At present Surekha serves as the Minister for Forest, Environment and Endowments in TG CM Revanth Reddy’s cabinet.

I would wish to clarify that the statement I had made in relation to @iamnagarjuna Garu was not intended to hurt Nagarjuna Garu or his family members.

I had no intention of hurting or defaming Akkineni Nagarjuna Garu or his family members.
