The ‘The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri will soon debut an original series called ‘Kashmir Files Unreported’
Along with his wife, producer-actor Pallavi Joshi, director Vivek Agnihotri, best known for “The Kashmir Files,” will soon debut an original series named “Kashmir Files Unreported.”
The series, according to the filmmaker, intends to present the unsettling reality regarding the extermination of the Kashmiri Pandits in its authentic form.
Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri announced on social media the release of the original, “The Kashmir Files Unreported,” writing: “PRESENTING: The Kashmir Files were contested by many Genocide Deniers, advocates of terrorism, and adversaries of India. Now I’m going to tell you the EVIL truth about the Hindu Genocide in Kashmir, which only the devil can deny. Soon to be released: #KashmirUNREPORTED. Prepare to cry.
While Vivek Agnihotri’s film became an unexpected smash hit, the subject itself polarised people and became a passionately debated political issue. Others described it as a combination of “half truths and lies” and referred to it as propaganda. Many referred to it as the “unheard or willfully ignored truth.”
The Kashmir Files movie was a commercial and critical success despite the criticism it received, with many people still doubting its truth and how it represented the events.
The movie’s appeal for compassion, justice, and unity continues to resonate with spectators as they follow its gripping story, and it continues to have a significant impact on how society views one of modern India’s worst episodes.
‘The Kashmir Files’ was a three-hour film that we filmed, but it was merely the tip of the iceberg, producer, and actor Pallavi Joshi stated when discussing ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’. We came to the realization that the truth had to be presented to the public in its true and unvarnished form when a segment of society began to claim that it was false and fraudulent.
She continued: “So here we are presenting ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’ which shows you the extensive research we have gone through. And you can hear the stories of unimaginable horror and terror that these Pandits have gone through. So it’s a serial that every Indian should watch and know what Kashmir means to us.”
