Karan Johar’s next is a biopic

This afternoon, reputed Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar announced his new film. The film is said to be a biopic based on the real life incidents of C Sankaran Nair, who fought against the British Raj to uncover the truth about Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

The film is an adoption from a book titled, The Case That Shook The Empire written by Sankaran Nair’s great grandson Raghu Palat and his wife Pushpa Palat. Confirming the same, Karan Johar took to Twitter and revealed the news.

Karan Singh Tyagi will be directing this as-yet-untitled film which is gearing up to go on the floors shortly. Complete cast and crew details of this prestigious project will be unveiled out soon.
