Manchu Vishnu is going all out for his ambitious devotional action drama Kannappa. He has brought together a great cast, including Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal making the film a major talking point. This high-budget project is set to release on April 25th.
Earlier Vishnu unveiled the first teaser at the Cannes Film Festival. Now, the second teaser is out, offering a glimpse of large-scale action.
It shows Vishnu’s character facing an enemy attack and fighting back fiercely. While the first teaser portrayed him as a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu, the latest one reveals him as an atheist.
The film revolves around what transforms this atheist into a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. Vishnu impresses with his warrior like presence, strong body language, and dialogue delivery. Akshay Kumar, playing Lord Shiva, looks divine with an intense makeover marking his second time in the role after Oh My God 2.
Kajal Aggarwal appears as Goddess Parvati, while Prabhas brief yet powerful appearance as a sage steals the show. Preity Mukundhan plays Vishnu’s love interest.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for the Mahabharat TV series, Kannappa is produced by Mohan Babu, under 24 Frames Factory.
