Kanguva Day 1 Collections

Suriya‘s movie “Kanguva“, directed by Siva, features Disha Patani as the heroine. The film is jointly produced by UV Creations and Studio Green. The teaser and trailer impressed the audience, raising expectations for the movie. Although the film received negative talk on its first day, the strong pre-release hype helped it achieve good openings.

“Kanguva” has done a theatrical business of Rs. 13 crores. To achieve a break-even point, the film needs to collect a share of Rs. 14 crores. On its opening day, the movie managed to collect Rs. 3.32 crores, which is decent. However, it still needs to earn another Rs. 10.68 crores to break even. Despite receiving negative talk, the film had a solid opening day. It now remains to be seen how well it capitalizes on the weekend.
