Kalyani Priyadarshan Set For Bollywood Debut

Kalyani Priyadarshan is expected to make her Bollywood debut soon. According to few reports she has been selected as the female lead opposite Ranveer Singh in Pralay which is a zombie thriller directed by Jai Mehta.

Initially, Kalyani was reportedly unsure about starting her Hindi film career with a zombie movie.

However, Ranveer Singh is said to have explained the film story and vision, convincing her to join the project. If confirmed, she will play Ranveer’s wife in the film.

Kalyani recently earned praise for her role in the Malayalam blockbuster Lokah which boosted her popularity across India. Pralay is one of Ranveer’s biggest films, set in a zombie-hit Mumbai.

Shooting is expected to begin in August, with schedules planned in Australia and India. An official announcement is awaited.
