Kaithi 2 Is Set To Begin Filming In 2025 With Biryani Bucket Again

Kaithi is one of Tamil cinema’s biggest hits. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj it established him as one of the best commercial directors among young filmmakers.

Starring Karthi in the lead role the film was also a sensation in Telugu titled Khaidhi. Karthi recently sparked talks of a sequel during a fan meeting.

“Kaithi 2 will start in 2025. Lokesh Kanagaraj plans to begin next year. It’s time to bring back the Biryani Bucket,” Karthi shared with media.

Kaithi is part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe, earning Karthi immense love from fans and the audience. Despite lacking a female lead and traditional commercial elements, the film performed exceptionally well.
