Jana Nayagan’s Biggest Hurdle Is Finally Over

Vijay’s Jana Nayagan has finally received CBFC clearance after months of delays clearing the way for its theatrical release.

The film has given a ‘A’ certificate and has a runtime of 183 minutes. The certification process was delayed due to objections from the CBFC leading to legal proceedings and several postponements.

During this period, fake censor certificates and release dates also spread on social media, creating confusion among fans.

Jana Nayagan is Vijay’s final film before fully focusing on his political career as Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister.

The makers are expected to announce the official release date soon, with the film likely to release in theatres on July 23.
