Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney and Sridevi, may have had it easier than other actors in the business. The actor, though, has faced her share of difficulties.
Janhvi recently talked about how people constantly criticise her acting abilities online just because she is a star child. She said that she values hard work and that she has always been very clear about her life’s objectives.
She says she wants to carry on the legacy of her late mother. The actress added that her desire to give back to her parents and the viewers, rather than coming from a place of arrogance, is what motivates her.
Janhvi continued by saying that even if she might have had an easier time getting some opportunities, she still feels like she is at a disadvantage. People aren’t going to watch her films from a purely objective standpoint, in that sense. She must therefore persuade them that she can offer them anything. She continued by saying that she enjoys watching movies and that she no longer feels guilty about it because she is confident in her abilities. Harper’s Bazaar was told by Janhvi that she was only warming up.
The “Mili” actress also discussed the public’s response to her on-screen work and her film roles in the same interview.
Janhvi claimed that it hurts a lot when she is working so hard, losing blood, sweat, and tears, or going through mental anguish, and some random, nameless person on the internet refers to her as a “nepo baby” on the internet. She claims that it only takes a split second to diminish you to nothing.
She continued by saying that she would respect constructive criticism from others. She claims that there comes a time when you simply have to accept the fact that certain individuals are, for lack of a better phrase, plain depressed and are out to steal your happiness.
She will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s “Bawaal,” which also stars Varun Dhawan, for professional purposes. The actress also includes Rajkummar Rao’s “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi” on her resume.
