We had Bhanumathi, Savitri garu, Jamuna, Vani Sri, Sarada, Vijayshanthi, Ramyakrishnan, Soundarya in different generations who could carry a film on their shoulders and also, guarantee an opening if they were in the film. For present generation, Nayantara and Anushka Shetty are enjoying such huge popularity and stardom. Anushka always attributed her success to the makers of her films. So, to whom does Nayantara attribute her big success?
Nayantara said, ” Film business is all about acceptance. If you are accepted in a certain role or certain film, you see a hit pattern there and many try to follow it. You have to be highly careful and also assess a story and situation carefully to make sure that people will find something highly entertaining and acceptable in the kind of films you do. So, I attribute this to people’s acceptance.”
She continued, “You can never be just one person trying to change everything. You need a team and people who can encourage. When I thought I reached a point in my career, where I should do something new, I decided act in women oriented stories more. Luckily, I found some good stories and makers. Still, if people have decided to reject it, no one would have been interested to make these many movies with me. Since people with open heart accepted our attempts, I am in a position to do movies that I love to do, on regular basis.”
