Nayanthara’s previous interview in which she clarified her problems with the media becomes viral amid the box office success of Jawan and the most recent rumours.
Reports of an argument between director Atlee and leading woman Nayanthara have been in the news since morning amid Jawan’s success at the box office around the world. According to the most recent media reports, Nayanthara is angry with filmmaker Atlee for giving Deepika Padukone priority over her. She reportedly feels let down by the filmmaker for making Jawan look like a Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone movie while she had little screen time.
The South sensation’s old video is making the rounds for all the interesting reasons amid all the feud reports. Recently, a Reddit member shared Nayan’s old video on the site, in which she can be seen outlining all the problems with the media.
Nayanthara remarked, “Won’t my family get hurt?,” in an interview with news outlet Asianet. What did I do to cause harm to my family? This is my job, what I’m doing. I’m following the instructions from my managers. Nobody can find anything wrong with that. Why do you only play glamorous roles when you might be playing more mundane ones? None of these questions are legitimate to be asked. You can watch it if you want to, but you shouldn’t if you don’t like it. I’m liked by a lot of folks that enjoy watching. You can criticise, but you have to be accurate.
You shouldn’t have done this character this way, or your acting was not to the point, these are proper criticisms. And not the ones who come and say why did you do that, etc. This is why I stopped giving interviews, and when there are controversies about me, I know when I need to clarify, and I will clarify only at that time. Otherwise, I would not say anything. A lot of things are written about me to provoke me, I just simply don’t get provoked. Only when I feel I want to speak about something, only that time I will talk about it,” she added.
In the most recent update, despite allegations to the contrary, Nayanthara expressed her warmest birthday greetings to filmmaker Atlee. She shared pictures taken on set and remarked, “So proud of you.”
