Recently, we’ve seen some music composers use AI to recreate the voices of legendary singers who are no longer alive.
Speaking about this trend, AR Rahman expressed concern. He said some songs created with these AI voices contain vulgar content, and there needs to be proper control over such usage.
Rahman also shared details about his new global musical band made up of six virtual artists, part of his metahumans project.
He has been experimenting with tools like Unreal Engine and announced this unique project earlier this year in Dubai. With this, Rahman is taking Indian music into a whole new digital era.
