Is Allu Arjun The New Shaktimaan?

Rumours have been doing the rounds that Allu Arjun might team up with director Basil Joseph for an exciting project.

The latest talk is that they could be working together on the film version of Shaktimaan the iconic Indian superhero series from the 90s that starred Mukesh Khanna. The show still holds a special place in the hearts of many.

Initially Basil had planned to make Shaktimaan with Ranveer Singh and an official announcement was also made. However the project didn’t take off.

Now, with Allu Arjun reportedly in talks, fans are thrilled and eagerly waiting for confirmation. Some are even sharing a clip of Mukesh Khanna saying that Allu Arjun could suit the superhero role.

So far, there has been no official update from the makers. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently working on a massive film with director Atlee and actress Deepika Padukone, produced by Sun Pictures.
