Irrfan Khan reportedly voiced worry that Hollywood directors wanted him for delicate roles while Bollywood just loved demonising him.

Irrfan, a late actor, was renowned for his effortless acting and capacity to portray nuanced characters in films. He has appeared in practically every genre of film, from Bollywood blockbusters to foreign arthouse. Several famous people, including those from Hollywood, voiced their sorrow at his passing three years ago.

In general, his coworkers were very complimentary of him. Due to his prominent appearances in popular film franchises like Jurassic World and Spider-Man, he has remained one of India’s most well-known actor exports. He once noted, though, how Bollywood cherished portraying him as bad in flicks.

Irrfan received a special recorded welcome from Marc Webb, who directed him in The Amazing Spider-Man, on Raveena Tandon’s show, It’s My Life. “Irrfan’s importance in Hollywood is an interesting thing,” the director of (500) Days of Summer observed. Irrfan has such a great reputation that many directors are starting to pay attention to him and look for possibilities for him.You could clearly see his amazing talents on a show he did here (in the US) called In Treatment. Strong directors, like Danny Boyle or Ang Lee, are starting to pay attention to this celebrity since she is from a place that some people consider exotic and remote. But when you see actors like Irrfan, you see how close they actually are. It’s lovely to see you again, Irrfan. I hope everything is going well for you and your family.

On the third installment of the Robert Langdon trilogy, Inferno, Irrfan and Hollywood legend Tom Hanks worked together. Before filming started, Hanks sent him a handwritten note in which he expressed his delight in working with the actor. Hanks expressed his admiration for Irrfan’s talent to the public during a press conference.

What bothers me most about Irrfan Khan is this. said Tom Hanks. “I usually believe that I’m the coolest man in the room, and everyone pays close attention to what I say while also feeling a little scared by me. Irrfan Khan then enters the space. He is also the coolest person in the room. Irrfan Khan, I’m going to steal from you all I can, I stated as soon as I approached him. In movies, I’m going to start speaking extremely quietly. I’ll be donning a pretty classy outfit. And I’ll emphasise the final consonant in each sentence I speak. And by doing that, I’ll be making a pitiful attempt to imitate the coolest dude.

Irrfan Khan voiced concern during a conversation that Bollywood only started to see him as a viable leading man after he won awards for his work in The Warrior. “Bollywood likes to demonise me, but I have no idea why,” he stated. The international filmmakers find me ideal to play sensitive human figures and wish to cast me as the decent guy, despite the fact that some people may think my appearance is wicked. Irrfan, however, vehemently rejected the idea of moving to Los Angeles. He argued that now that he had the power to make decisions, he could picture a prosperous future for himself.

In well-known Hindi films like Piku, Hindi Medium, and Paan Singh Tomar, Irrfan Khan played the lead role. He lost his battle with cancer in 2020 after a two-year battle.
