Kamal Haasan will reprise his role as Senapathy, a character with strong recall value. Indian 2 focuses on drama and emotions, unlike the high-tech Kalki 2898 AD. With a two-week gap between Kalki and Indian 2 releases, Indian 2 could benefit if Kalki slows down at the box office.
