Nandamuri Kalyanram talked about his childhood memories and his decision to join the film Industry, 15 years ago in an interview. He is coming with MLA, Manchi Lakshnalunna Abbayi, directed by Upendra Madhav, previously an associate of Srinu Vaitla. The movie is releasing on 23rd of March and the actor is quite confident about the movie. He talked about the movie as his ode to commercial cinema.
He said, “From a very young age, my parents always wanted me to be a disciplined person. They never encouraged any kind of carelessness and if I am a bit naughty they used to keep that in check all the time. Especially my might always wanted me to study and work hard on my marks. I used to get 90% but still my mother used to tell me that education is the only way, we can powerful enough to make a living out of it. I could never tell her that I wanted to become an actor in my school days.”
He continued, “Later, when I joined degree I started opening up a bit and talked to my mother about joining films. She asked me to complete degree with good marks and then, allowed me to speak to my dad. He got scared of my decision and asked me to go to US and complete MS. After living there for few years and doing few businesses, I came back to India, to become an actor and a producer. After my initial two films, I wanted to produce the films I can connect with and hence, started NTR Arts.” The actor also said that education is the main theme of his MLA and the social importance of education should be appreciated in our society more.
