Former IAS officer Vijay Kumar has filed a petition in the AP High Court against actor and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
In his complaint, Vijay Kumar alleged that government funds were misused for the promotion of Pawan Kalyan’s latest film Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM).
He claimed that Pawan, using his political position, diverted government resources for the benefit of the movie in which he played the lead role.
Vijay Kumar also requested the court to order a CBI investigation into the issue. After hearing the petition, the High Court directed the registry to add CBI and ACB as parties in the case and postponed the hearing for one week.
HHVM, directed by Jothi Krishna and presented by AM Ratnam, was released on July 24, 2025. The film, however failed at the box office, leaving distributors in losses.
Now, apart from the movie’s poor result, Pawan Kalyan is also facing a fresh legal battle.
