Godfather music rights bagged for a good price

There is a good buzz surrounding Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Godfather, which is the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. The film is directed by Tamil director Mohan Raja and has Nayanthara as the leading lady of the film, in which Satya Dev and Bollywood SUperstar Salman Khan will be seen in important roles.

The makers of the film are planning to release the film for Dasara, and an official confirmation of the same is awaited still. In the meantime, it has now been officially announced that the music rights for the film have been bought by Saregama South, which has been bagging the rights of all major Telugu films recently. SS Thaman is the music director of this film.

On the other hand, Chiru also has Meher Ramesh’s Bhola Shankar and director Bobby’s Waltair Veerraju in the pipeline, and both the films are currently in shooting stages.
