Prabhas started his long awaited comeback with a bang with ‘Salaar part 1‘ directed by Prasanth Neel thrilling fans with a spine-chilling storyline. Even though there was almost no promotion and there was no competition from ‘Dunki,’ the movie did not make 1000 crore but still made 725 crores at the box office.
The movie was made by Hombale Films and the fans were excited about it since they thought that this is the best work of Prabasini since ‘Baahubali‘ in those circumstances. Though many of the viewers lauded the dialogues of Baahubali, they also complained about the less vigorous dialogues for Prabhas, which was partly due to his altered voice.
Although he had a small dialogue count, some say that the work is to be done in the next part. The movie starred Prithviraj Sukumaran as Varadharaja Mannar, Prabhas as Devaratha, Shruti Haasan as the female character, and Jagapathi Babu and Shriya Reddy played the root roles. Eeswari Rao has enacted his mother character in this multiple language production.
Through the music of Ravi Basrur and the direction of photography of Bhuvan Gowda, ‘Salaar’ combined the efforts of a great team to create a unique film.
