Fresh Twist In Vijay’s Jana Nayagan Leak Case

The online leak of Vijay’s Jana Nayagan led to a police investigation and multiple arrests.

This development came from the Madras HC which cancelled the Goondas Act detention order against Umasankar who is one of the accused in the leak case.

Order was issued by the Chennai Police Commissioner on July 30th. Umasankar’s sister, Renuka Devi, challenged the detention, claiming he worked as a textile shop manager and was not a film editor.

A division bench cancelled the detention order after hearing the petition.

However, the court’s decision only concerns his preventive detention and does not decide the allegations related to the film leak. The case continues.
