Shruthi Hassan the actress who has an iron will to bounce back from any kind of down, gave an interview about her life and career to a media outlet recently. In the photos, she looked back in her original shape that came under lot of public scanner with Katamarayudu for which she was trolled hard. The actress is now ready to shoot for her next period film with Sundar. C. The movie is being produced by AGS films with a massive budget of over 300 crores as per the official announcement.
The actress said, even though she is daughter of Kamal Hassan nothing came to her easy in life. It is her work that brought her a lot of fame and name, not her background. She commented that if someone calls the Industry nepotistic and show her as an example then they should really need a heavy beating to understand what happens behind a shot and how easy it is to pass on comments about others from outside. She said she saw her father and mother putting in a lot of effort to bring them up with values and she will never forget that. She also shared that being revered as a diva in such a demanding profession is not at all easy and her respect for craft has increased with each day, she had been part of the industry.
Shruthi elaborated on her choice to work more and also revealed about her failed relationships. In her words, “Today, I might be written off or praised so easily but for everything I am at this moment, I needed to sacrifice a lot too. Many don’t understand the hardships and mental stresses behind the job and look down upon us quite easily. For me, work comes before anything and even my relationships suffered due to that. I cannot stand anyone who looks down upon my work or comes in between. I will be more than happy to be known for my work rather than ending up as a gossip!”
