The shooting of Vijay’s upcoming film VD 12 was recently paused. Filming was taking place near Kothamangalam in Kerala, where scenes with two elephants were being shot near the Bhoothathankettu forest. However, the two elephants unexpectedly started fighting, causing chaos on set.
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri had planned to film scenes with the elephants, but during shooting, the animals became agitated and began confronting each other.
The cast and crew tried to calm them down but were unsuccessful. One elephant was injured, and the other ran off into the forest.
The film crew quickly alerted forest officials, who acted fast and located the runaway elephant. Shooting was temporarily on hold, and production will restart once the situation is under control.
This film is set to release on March 28th 2025.
