Farhad Akhtar’s Don3 on the Cards!

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don will remain as stylish entertainer in the Hindi Film industry. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Don also stars Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Isha Koppikar, Boman Irani, Pavan Malhotra, Rajesh Khattar and Om Puri in supporting roles.

The movie was released in October 2006 and went on to become a decent hit at the box office. Reportedly, Farhad Akhtar and Sidhwani’s banner Excel Entertainment bought the rights of the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 1978 film of the same name and remade it with Shah Rukh and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead.

Now, the latest news is that Farhad Akhtar is busy finishing the script work for the third installment of Don. If everything goes well, an official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out by this year itself.
