Many thought people would be more driven to vote on 11th April and they won’t be going to theatres to watch a film like Majili, prior to its release. But the audiences have surprised everyone again.
The movie is running houseful in Nizam and in Andhra Pradesh, the advance bookings by the time, this article is written, have been excellent for evening and night shows. As Telangana state is only polling for Lok Sabha Elections, most theatres continued to screen films.
Hence, the movie registered Housefull turnouts for morning and matinee shows in Hyderabad and many Telangana areas. Seems like the movie has penetrated well into the audiences and it will have a good run at the box office.
We have to wait and see if upcoming releases will have an effect on the movie or will it continue going strong at the box office?! For now, the first week of the movie turned out to best in Naga Chaitanya’s career.
