Bobby Deol plays Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu directed by Jyothi Krishna.
Initially, Bobby had filmed a few scenes. However after the director watched Bobby’s impressive performance in Animal, he decided to completely revamp his character.
Jyothi Krishna said Bobby’s ability to express emotions without dialogue was stunning, which inspired him to rewrite the character’s arc and give it more depth.
Major changes were made to Aurangzeb’s personality, backstory and look to better suit Bobby’s current image and acting strength. The director wanted the character to be more intense and emotionally powerful.
He mentioned that when the revised role was narrated, Bobby was excited and eager to explore this new version.
Jyothi Krishna praised Bobby’s strong screen presence and expressive eyes saying he brings a unique elegance to the role. Working with Bobby Deol he said, has been a wonderful and inspiring experience.
