The team behind ‘Tillu Square‘ faced a tough time finding the right actress for the lead role, despite the success of ‘DJ Tillu‘. Eventually, they settled on Anupama Parameswaran, a Kerala native, after considering various other actresses. Initially, Anupama had agreed to the project but later backed out due to reported scheduling conflicts.
However, she eventually rejoined the film, stating that she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to portray the character of Lilly. Director Mallik Ram confirmed the struggles they faced in finding the right fit for the role, mentioning that Anupama was the ideal choice from the beginning.
Other actresses like Madonna Sebastian and Meenakshi Choudhary were also considered, but ultimately, it was believed that only Anupama could do justice to the character. While there were rumors about the reasons behind Anupama initially walking out, the director clarified that it was solely due to scheduling conflicts and not any other issues like bold scenes or other situations.
Despite the challenges, the promotional material for the movie has generated excitement among fans, particularly because of Anupama’s glamorous look in the film. With its release scheduled for the end of March, fans are eagerly anticipating the unveiling of this anticipated project.
