Producer Dil Raju is known for taking bold decisions that have worked well for him in the past. His decision to give up the full rights of The Paradise proved beneficial, as the film reportedly resulted in losses for several distributors.
Now, Dil Raju has acquired the Telugu distribution rights of Ramayana Part 1 and is planning for its November 5th 2026 release.
The film will hit theatres in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Despite its huge budget, Dil Raju reportedly feels that the makers should avoid ticket price hikes.
He believes the film’s popularity will attract audiences without higher prices. However, its success will ultimately depend on the content.
Recent releases have shown that affordable tickets can boost collections, but strong content remains essential.
