The makers of Bhogi have suddenly stopped promotional activities, including the trailer launch event.
Director Sampath Nandi said the event was postponed due to technical issues. However reports suggest that the film’s theatrical release may also be delayed.
Bhogi was scheduled to release on November 12th. According to few sources, the OTT platform that bought its digital rights has advised the makers to reconsider the date.
With several films arriving around the same time, a crowded release window could affect its box-office prospects.
The makers are now exploring other dates. The film features Sharwanand in a period role alongside Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi.
