Devara‘s Overseas Business has been clinched for a significant sum, with the breakeven details now unveiled. The deal, amounting to 27Cr, has been struck with Hamsini Entertainments, a Tamil overseas distributor, marking a notable achievement for Devara’s team.
The projected Overseas business of 30Cr was almost met, indicating a highly favorable outcome. With a breakeven point estimated at 6.5M, the film stands to yield considerable profits. Currently in its final shooting stages, Devara anticipates wrapping up within 40 days, aiming for completion by either March end or mid-April.
Following the shoot, an aggressive pan-India promotional campaign is planned. Originally slated for an April 5th release, various circumstances have led to the film’s postponement, with a new target window set for July, August, or September. Director Koratala Siva‘s vision for Devara spans two parts, driven by a narrative rich in depth and grandeur, with a hefty budget of Rs 300 Crores allocated for production.
Featuring Janhvi Kapoor as NTR‘s love interest and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, NTR assumes a dual role portraying both father and son. Anirudh‘s musical compositions heighten anticipation among fans, as NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts collaborate in bringing this ambitious project to life.
