Writer-Director Deva Katta earned name and respect for his writing and story-telling with movies like Prasthanam and Autonagar Surya. The director has hit a rock bottom with continuous flops career wise but he is still a respected filmmaker and has a craze in young audience and families too, as they are discovering and re-discovering Prasthanam on Television and other available medium to catch the movie up.
Now, the director is looking to strike back with two interesting projects. One is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual to be produced by Krrish and Rajeev Reddy. A source in the know revealed to a famous newspaper, “The film has a edgy plot backed by gripping narrative. Racy screenplay will be an added advantage to this film. The director is giving the script final touches and soon, an official announcement can be expected.”
The second one is said to be an International project for Arka Media, who produced Baahubali. The source revealed, “The pre-production works are going on in full swing and complete details will be announced soon.” The director is planning to start his Hindi version of Prasthanam with Sanjay Dutt in May. Seems like after the calm, Deva Katta is brewing a storm to take audience by surprise with his content.
