Anurag Kashyap Responds To Controversy, Urges Trolls To Spare Women

Anurag Kashyap clarified his recent comment about Brahmins after facing backlash online. It all started when someone commented, “Brahmins are your fathers,” and Kashyap replied, “I’ll urinate on Brahmins, any problem”?This led to a lot of anger on social media. Many users sent rape and death threats to Kashyap, his daughter, and his friends.

In response, Kashyap posted a message on Instagram. He said he won’t take back his words but apologized for the hate and threats that followed.

He asked people to target him, not his family. He also urged people to leave women out of such issues, saying real values teach respect for women.

Kashyap said he stands by what he said and won’t delete the post. He added that his family had no role in it. The situation has started a fresh discussion about caste, freedom of speech, and how far people can go with their words.
