Punjabi kudi Charmme has always sported her luscious long hair and her hair became something that she is known for! However, her recent move proves that she has a heart as big as long her hair was. The actress has cut her hair to make such that wigs can be made for two teenager who are cancer patients. Moved deeply, she told an English Daily, “Recently , a friend of mine invited me over to his place to meet two girls, both in their teens and battling cancer.
He told me they were both big fans of mine. I immediately agreed to go spend some time with them. They were undergoing chemotherapy to fight cancer and have lost their hair because of the treatment.Throughout the time we spent together, the girls were all praise for my hair.
They kept running their hands through it and saying, `Charmme akka, mee hair chala bagundi’.” Post that encounter, she wanted to chop off her hair. She says, “I called my hairstylist and chopped off my hair in solidarity with those brave girls. I’m getting two wigs made out of the 18 inches of hair that I cut off. I’ll be meeting them again soon and will gift them the wigs myself. I can’t wait to see their smile when they take it,“ she says. Well, hats off Charmme for your touching move.
