Buzz: Salaar to be pushed further

Young rebel star Prabhas is currently on a vacation abroad, and the actor is expected to resume shooting for his upcoming movie Salaar, sometime in April, after director Prashanth Neel is done with promoting his upcoming film KGF 2.

Salaar is a high octane action drama, in which Prabhas will be seen as a don. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of this film and will be seen as Aadya, a journalist. The film’s release date hasn’t been announced yet, but the producers are said to be keen on releasing the film in the summer of 2023. Given that Prabhas’s Adipurush would be hitting the screens in early 2023, it is now being said that the makers are contemplating pushing the release date of Salaar.

On the other hand, Prabhas is also committed to Nag Ashwin’s Project K, the shooting for which he is expected to resume very soon as well. Prabhas has also announced his 25th film with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, titled Spirit, and is expected to collaborate with director Maruthi very soon.
