One of the leading Telugu channels, Zee Telugu, has bagged the coveted rights of the upcoming big-budget family entertainer for a whopping 13 crores, making it the talk of the industry. The film, which is gearing up for a summer release, has a great pre-release buzz already. The biggest advantage, it is learnt, is that Mahesh Babu’s earlier film Srimanthudu turned out to be a super-hit collecting a sensational Rs 100 crore at the box-office. Also, the earlier combination of Mahesh with director Srikanth Addala, Sitamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, was a hit too, so expectations are mounting high. Pranitha Subhash, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha play the female leads in the film which hits the theatres on 6th May.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu has also begun work on his upcoming bilingual thriller with director AR Murugadoss. A hunt is on for a heroine for the film and the likes of Parineeti Chopra, Keerthy Suresh and Sai Pallavi have been approached for the role.
