The movie ‘Manjummel Boys‘, which was a hit in Malayalam, also found success in Telugu. Directed by Chidambaram S. Poduval, it was released on April 6th in Telugu by Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and Primeshow Entertainment. Babu Shahir, Soubin Shahir and Shaun Antony produced the film under ‘Parava Films’.
Based on a true story, it’s a gripping survival thriller about a young man from Manjummel village who rescued a friend trapped in Gunakev, Kodaikanal in 2006. The Telugu audience responded positively from the start, and the movie performed well at the box office.
