Basil Joseph, is currently working on a big pan-India film titled Shaktimaan. The project was already confirmed with Ranveer Singh in the lead role.
However recent rumors suggested that Allu Arjun might replace Ranveer. In a recent interview, Basil clearly denied these reports.
He confirmed that Ranveer is still the lead for Shaktimaan and there has been no change in the casting. This statement puts an end to the speculation about Allu Arjun being part of the film.
Interestingly after Arjun’s film with Trivikram was dropped his PR team hinted at a possible project with Basil Joseph.
This made fans assume that it could be Shaktimaan. But now it’s clear that Shaktimaan belongs to Ranveer Singh.
As of now Allu Arjun is not doing Shaktimaan. His next official film is with director Atlee, and details about his future collaborations will be revealed later.
