Prasanth Varma delivered a big hit last year with Hanu-Man. While many expected him to begin work on Jai HanuMan, he decided to delay it after Nandamuri Balakrishna requested him to launch Mokshagna‘s debut film. However, the film’s launch, planned for yesterday, was postponed.
The team had scheduled a pooja ceremony but it was canceled at the last minute, sparking rumors that the project might be shelved.
During a press meeting at a showroom launch, Balaaya clarified the situation. When asked if the project was canceled he explained that the launch was postponed because Mokshagna was unwell.
“Over the last two to three days, he hasn’t been feeling well, and it got worse yesterday. We initially planned for a simple puja ceremony, but considering Mokshagna’s health, we decided to postpone it,” Balakrishna confirmed.
There are also speculations that Mokshagna might not be fully ready to enter the film industry and could be delaying his debut intentionally. However, no official statement has been made regarding these rumors.
