Ashwath Opens Up On Rajini Film That Didn’t Happen

Director Ashwath Marimuthu known for Oh My Kadavule and Dragon recently spoke about a project he planned with Rajinikanth.

After watching Dragon, Rajinikanth called and appreciated his work then asked if he had a story. Ashwath later narrated a script, which Rajini liked a lot especially the villain role.

However the film did not move forward due to some reasons. Rajinikanth encouraged him to keep the story safe and even suggested it would suit stars like himself or Kamal Haasan.

He also praised Ashwath’s narration which meant a lot to the director.

Ashwath also shared Rajini’s humble nature during their meetings. Meanwhile he is now working on his next film with Silambarasan tentatively titled STR51.
