Akkineni Akhil had to face some humiliation with his debut in Overseas markets. The movie did not collect more than US$200k and the losses posted by the distributors have been seriously surprising. He has put in more efforts than any young actor and the movie attracted a good premiere number and even grossed US$500k at the box office in just two days. This is a good comeback from a young hero after such a debacle and we have to say, a spirited comeback by the young hero.
He is getting appreciated in Two Telugu states too, as a performer. Vikram Kumar’s magical story telling and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s performance are also getting high praises. Jagapathi Babu and Ramyakrishnan’s presence has helped the film to get families walking into theatres. On Sunday, the positive word of mouth resulted in better collections than the first day and trade is hoping the up trend continues in coming weeks with holiday and vacation boost.
