In just three months, Tamil actor Ajith, who gained acclaim for his role in Thunivu, will be releasing not one, but two films to thrill his fans. In the business, big stars often only do one movie a year, so this is rather unusual. Ajith appears to have modified his approach, though.
His first upcoming film, Vidaa Muyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, is currently in the works and set for release this October. The film stars Trisha in the lead role, with Arjun also playing a significant part, marking his second collaboration with Ajith after Mankatha/Gambler.
Following closely, Ajith will dive into his next project, tentatively titled Good, Bad, and Ugly, under the production of Mythri Movie Makers. Filming for this movie is scheduled to commence in June, with a target to wrap up production swiftly. The team aims to release this film during the Sankranthi season next year, completing Ajith’s double treat for his fans.
Ajith’s devoted fan base, who has been anxiously anticipating his comeback to the big screen, is sure to be thrilled by this surprising decision to release two movies in such short order. For those who have been missing him in movies, this is a nice surprise.
