When actor Aditya Om made his presence felt with YVS Chowdary’s Lahiri Lahiri Lahiri Lo, people thought that was a bright start and he will definitely make a mark in Tollywood. But the actor kind of faded away with no real projects to reckon with or fall back on. This week his first directorial venture, Friend Request, released but it was shown only in limited theatres.
As he did not get the number of seats he had hoped for he decided to stage a protest at Film Chamber. Talking to the media, he said that the movie has two years worth of his blood and toil and he had spent close to 4.5 crore. The film was reportedly set to release in more than 100 theatres but finally was released only in 30 theatres.
