In a complete unexpected surprise, in Sammohanam teaser, Aditi Rao Hydari treated us with her own dubbing in the movie. Her voice is very sweet to hear and matured as well at the same time. We love to hear her speak in Telugu and hoped that she would one day as we know her voice. She did it with her movie, Sammohanam and very well. For this she had to work hard and try to learn the language more.
She said, “Many think due to my Hyderabad roots that I was brought up in Hyderbad. No, I grew up in North India and can’t speak Telugu. I can understand it due to my relatives who speak in Hindi mixed Telugu. But for this movie, director Indranganti Mohan Krishna, asked me to dub with my own voice as it has a unique texture and will be perfect for character. I also wanted to do it and hence, agreed to it.”
She continued, “I love the Telugu language as it is very sweet and I slowly grew in confidence to speak more fluently in everyday life. As soon as I agreed the film, I immediately started learning Telugu, to emote well by understanding the words. I just intensified the training and tried to speak as a person who is learning Telugu in the dubbing theater, which paralleled with my current position. In future too, I will dub my own voice in the Telugu films, I act.”
