After the success of Baby, writer-director Sai Rajesh and producer SKN have teamed up again for a new romantic drama titled Chennai Love Story.
This film takes a fresh look at the idea of first love and even questions the message from Baby, which said that “first love is the purest and stays forever”.
To announce the project, the team released a teaser featuring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya sitting on a beach.
When Sri Gouri Priya praises the famous line from Baby, Kiran replies cleverly, saying, “If first love is the purest, then it should be our mother, because she’s everyone’s first love”. He adds that a failed relationship just means someone better is on the way.
He boldly declares, “First love topemi kaadu”. The teaser’s fun and thoughtful dialogues have grabbed attention.
The film is directed by debutant Ravi Namburi, with music by Mani Sharma and story by Sai Rajesh.
